Right, so I finally managed to get myself a development machine. Many thanks to everyone who donated to miniMIZE, you all helped me to get the machine, so thank-you very much. I have begun development on miniMIZE again and hope to release a new version soon. I am also getting a copy of Windows Vista and have some plans for some Vista specific features. My new machine is also 64 bit, so I hope to be able to ensure 64 bit compatability at some point.

I love the concept, but for some reason, I can't get it to minimize to my secondary monitor, even when I do set it to do so... :(
bug in minimize

Great program...and resource friendly too...

There is a bug though, that makes it use tooooo much cpu when you open a ProcessExplorer (by Sysinternals) window. If you\have ProcessExplorer working in the taskbar everything is ok but once you open the window the cpuusage does not drop unless you kill minimize...

Important suggestion from a daily user

I use minimize daily and love it!
using it daily, i often minimize apps, then bring them back and close them. After ive been doing this all day, my apps start to appear in a second column (mine are set to start top left and go down).
It would be good if you could set it in the options that left click on the taskbar icon resets the placing of windows.
Your site has had quite a few hits from mine I believe! AppAholic ring any bells? I'm the reason you got on lifehacker.com. now that gave you traffic im very sure :P

Hey, GLAD to see miniMIZE in development again. I've been using it on my Vista PC for quite some time and love it. Some bugs I noticed though: my web browser doesn't ALWAYS miniMIZE, especially if I have the do not show in taskbar function on. I'd love you to take advantage of Vista's Live Preview feature and show that in the thumbnails. That would be awesome. Thanks!
Great!
