hubert_cumberdale Visitor	[BUG] Various Bugs in miniMIZE - 2005/09/03 19:04 In the Settings, it doesn't save the size you set the Thumbnail Size to between sessions. For example, if I set it to 150 the next time I restart the program, it reverts back to the default setting of 100. After a few minutes, miniMIZE stops working properly. If I minimise any program it won't show up on the desktop, and previously minimised programs which are shown on the desktop fail to disappear from the desktop upon restoration. It works fine at first but after a few minutes (time varies from 2-3 to say 10 mins), it stops working. I am on Athlon 64 3000+, 1GB RAM, Radeon 9200 graphics card, WinXP SP2. Thanks.

I'm have managed to reproduce the size setting bug, so I will be able to sort that out. As for the bug where it stops working after a few minutes, I have heard a similar thing before, just after a few days not minutes. I have uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times and I can't get it to work anymore The program runs in the background like it is supposed to, but it doesn't show any thumbnails, no matter what I minimize please help!!!

Do either of you use a dock of some form, or anything similar? I have found another bug tho, it seems the screenshot for Limewire isn't correct. I don't know if it is the same problem or not, but the windows of the Gimp 2 are not completely 'rendered'. In fact it only shows the grey background and borders, not the icons or work areas. Another thing I noticed, with the Heroes 4 map editor, minimizing the window, the minimap (if not attached, it's a tool-like window) is shown as the screenshot rather than the main window. It's actually a nice effect in this case, but maybe it is not what you expected. Also, the icon is not displayed in that case.

As for problems with Gimp, applications written using GTK don't respond to the window capture code correctly.
