Re:miniMIZE 80 à 92% CPU used - 2006/05/09 03:23 can you all give a list of applications and their versions that you currently have miniMIZEd. I need to try work out if it is one of those that is causing a problem.

Thanks.

Re:miniMIZE 80 à 92% CPU used - 2006/05/10 16:16 I'm also have such problem on two totally different PC based on AMD CPU (Athlon XP & Athlon 64) running Windows XP Pro, but I don't think that this problem is connected with CPU architecture =/
miniMIZE works fine even when it consumes a lot of CPU cycles.
I have a lot of applications running at one time but i can't say that miniMIZE "slows the system" when i start some application, my opinion - it happens suddenly (may be connected with minimize/restore).

Common applications on both systems are:

ICQ Pro 2003b, XChat 2.6.3, Kerio Personal Firewall 4.2.0, NOD32 2.50.26, foobar 2000 0.9.1, Opera 8.54

and there is no Putty on the one of the PCs.

PS: May be it's better to make red flashing border on active minimized window a little bit more visible? two or three pixels width instead of one?

Re:miniMIZE 80 à 92% CPU used - 2006/05/11 10:14 Imrortant addition!!!
I notice that this "bug" reproduces when I extensivelly uses WinRoll 2.0 to "roll up the windows" (http://www.palma.com.au/winroll/). I'm not 100% shure that WinRoll causes this "bug", but i seems to be...
I'll try to gather the statistics =)
